Al Aaliya Island is located off the coast of Al Daayen Municipality in Qatar, north of The Pearl, and Al Aaliya Island is one of the nature reserves rich in biodiversity and mangroves in the State of Qatar. The island is characterized by wide biodiversity, as many species of birds and wild animals live on the island, such as endangered hawksbill turtles, in addition to containing nests for osprey, gulls, flamingoes, and hares, in addition to containing coral reefs that contain a huge diversity of marine organisms.

Al Aaliya Island's rocky deposits and pure sand, along with its surrounding coral reefs, make it one of the most significant ecotourism destinations. Because of its unique biological and environmental diversity, visitors can enjoy activities like fishing, diving, and kite surfing, as well as boating, rowing, and boating.​
