A clean-up campaign for Bu Fontas Beach
On the occasion of World Cleanup Day, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change carried out a campaign last Sunday, to clean Bu Fontas Beach with the participation of students of Saud bin Abdul Rahman Primary Independent School for Boys, during which a large number of waste and plastic containers were removed from the beach.
It is worth noting that World Cleanup Day, which is celebrated on the third Saturday of September each year, and falls on September 17, 2022, aims to spread and raise awareness of the importance of public hygiene, encourage everyone to participate in cleaning campaigns, and work to find solutions to address the waste problem.
