His Excellency, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, holds official meetings during his participation in the Dust Storms Conference in Tehran
His Excellency Dr. Faleh bin Nasser Al Thani, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, conducted several separate meetings with officials from some of the participating countries in the International Conference on Combating Dust and Sandstorms.
These meetings took place on the sidelines of his participation in the conference, which is being held in the capital, Tehran, on September 9 and 10 of this year. During the conference, His Excellency met with Mr. Ali Salajegheh, Deputy President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and President of the Iranian Environmental Protection Organization.
His Excellency Dr. Faleh bin Nasser Al Thani, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, also met with His Excellency Engineer Nizar Ameedi, the Minister of Environment of Iraq.
The meetings, attended by the Qatari delegation participating in the conference, discussed several common topics related to climate change and methods of environmental conservation.
