Minister of Environment and Climate Change visits Qatar’s pavilion at COP28 and Participates in G77 and China Summit

HE Dr. Faleh bin Nasser Al Thani, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, visited Qatar’s pavilion at the exhibition accompanying the twenty-eighth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), held at Expo 2020 Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

During the visit, His Excellency listened to a detailed explanation of the pavilion’s equipment and the role it plays during the conference, aiming to highlight Qatar’s efforts in climate change issues and review the country’s experiences in relying on modern technology to achieve sustainable development and reduce emissions.

HE Dr. Faleh bin Nasser Al Thani, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, also participated in the Group of 77 and China summit, held during the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Qatar participated with its own pavilion at the exhibition accompanying the twenty-eighth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), held at Expo 2020 Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

In this participation, Qatar is represented by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change along with various state entities. The aim of this participation is to enrich the scientific, technical, and knowledge-based discussions during the conference. It also aims to showcase Qatar’s national efforts in addressing climate change issues, highlighting the country’s experiences in leveraging modern technology for sustainable development and carbon emissions reduction.
