The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change organizes awareness-raising lectures in a number of schools
As part of its vision regarding the importance of raising environmental awareness among the new generation, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change presented an awareness lecture to the children of Al Salam Kindergarten for Girls. The lecture included introducing the plants and animals found in the Qatari environment. Its aim was to familiarize the kindergarten students with the importance of Qatari Environment Day, as well as methods of conserving the local environment, using storytelling techniques suitable for the students’ ages.
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change also presented an awareness lecture at Al Andalus Elementary School for Girls. The lecture contributed to acquainting the students with all types of pollution threatening the local environment and its impact on public health. Additionally, the students were educated about the importance of practices that contribute to environmental conservation.
