Workshop to unify the positions of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to end plastic pollution by the year 2024
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change participated in a workshop to unify the positions of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in preparation for the third meeting of the government negotiating committee, INC-3, to end plastic pollution.
At the workshop, held in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Ministry was represented by the Hazardous Chemicals and Waste Department, where they discussed the unifying of positions among GCC countries regarding the legally binding instrument to end plastic pollution by the year 2024.
