The International Cooperation Department

The International Cooperation Department handles the following responsibilities:

1- Write papers for the conferences, seminars, and meetings held on the domestic, regional, and international level as relates to the activities of the Ministry in coordination with the relevant administrative units and agencies.

2- Within the scope of the Ministry’s work and specialties, the International Cooperation Department is tasked with making the necessary preparation for participating in the conferences and meetings organized by the regional and international bodies that have the State of Qatar as a member.

3- Prepare reports and replies requested by the regional and international bodies as fits the scope of the Ministry in coordination with the relevant administrative units.

4- Conduct studies and follow up on the implementation of the recommendations provided by regional and international bodies with relation to the activities of the Ministry in coordination with the relevant state agencies.

5- Prepare the necessary reports on the contributions made by the regional and international bodies in the context of developing and supporting the various activities of the Minister in coordination with the relevant agencies.

6- Within the scope of the Ministry’s work and specialties, take care of the reoccurring financial obligations of the State of Qatar to the organizations that have Qatar as a member in coordination with the relevant government agencies.

7- Within the scope of the Ministry’s work and specialties, discuss ways to bolster the role of the State of Qatar in Arabic, regional, and international bodies and organizations.

8- Collect and compile data and research released domestically, regionally, or internationally that fall within the scope of the Ministry. Moreover, the Department is responsible for making such research available as useful sources of information.

9- Translate documents, books, scientific research, and international correspondence that fall within the scope of the Ministry.
